Equipped to handle coil, strip and solid wood banding with a band selection control to switch from one to another (coil material capacity to 3mm, strip or solid wood banding up to 13mm) and upgraded by Fletcher in 2007.
Capacities: Edge Thickness from 1/64” to ½”, Edge Width from ½” to 2-1/8”, Minimum Panel Width of 3-1/2”, Minimum Panel Length of 11”, Panel Thickness from 12mm (.4725”) to 60mm (2.36”)
Granular quick-melt glue pot and equipped with Watlow temperature controls for the glue pot and glue roller
Pneumatic guillotine and pressure roll section with (1) driven roller and (3) idler rollers.
First Station: Front & Rear End Trims (each with a 17,200 rpm motor) .
Second Station: Top & Bottom tilting Bevel Trims (tilting to approximately 30 degrees) (17,200 rpm motors).
Heavy-duty, rubber-padded feed chain with variable feed rate (hand wheel adjust) to approximately 65FPM
Auto chain track lubrication system
Top pressure beam adjustable via hand wheel
Includes digital read-outs on pressure roll section, End Trims, Top & Bottom Trims, Pressure Beam
The edgebander also features adjustable in-feed alignment fence, Outboard panel support, Sound Enclosure with worklight, Overarm top-mounted worklights over glue and pressure section
