Work area cap.: 2,800 mm (110") Length, 1,000 mm (39-3/8") width; boring unit with (21) independent vertical spindles, (10) in X-axis, (10) in Y-axis with (1) shared spindle, (1) special separate spindle for up to 35 mm dia. drills; (4) horizontal spindles with (1 + 1) in X-axis for edge boring in the left & right-hand panel edges and (1 + 1) spindle for edge boring in the rear panel edge.
Equipped with: (1) 10 HP High speed router & (1) 7.5 HP Router, both with "Hydro-Grip" Quick Change spindles; powered by 11 KVA frequency inverter w/programmable 9,000 - 18,000 RPM constant power spindle speed; 2 HP grooving saw with 100 mm dia. blade for X-axis operation.
(6) Moveable support rails w/side mounted raise & lower panel feeding rail, (2) square matrix vacuum cups ea., (6) pneumatic backstops, (2) movable pneumatic side stops, (2) working zones for (2) workpieces at a time. The head travels on THK linear motion guides on all axes, feed speed X-axis 263 FPM, Y-axis 196 FPM and Z-axis 64 FPM.
WEEKE "2000-IPC" Windows based Pentium controller for (3) axes; linear, circular & helical interpolation; NUM programmable logic control operating system, 15" color graphic monitor, industrial keyboard for data entry, 3-1/2" floppy disk drive, 1.0 GB hard drive, 32-bit processors, EtherNET interface for LAN connection to office PC, RS-232 serial interface for simple PC connection; all mounted in separate free-standing control cabinet.
The computer has been updated and a new 17" color monoter is in place. The old one are still with the machine although in working order, although machine is running on replacements.
Complete with: 100 cbm/Hr Vacuum pump, man-height safety enclosure around rear & sides of machine, 2-zone safety light bars (will stop machine if operator enters work area), built-in auto-transformer which will allow connection for any 3-phase voltages.
